Before the sound of scissors and the clash of colour bowls, before the bookings and the Bellevue Street buzz, there was Leonard : a stylist with a vision , relentless dedication and a sharp eye for detail. He began his journey as one of the original members of Toni & Guy Australia, working out of their iconic Pitt Street salon. It didn’t take long for Leonards natural talent to shine. Not just in the artistry of hair but in education - his ability to teach , inspire and lead others in the craft. His flair for education soon saw him travelling the globe as an International Educator for the Toni & Guy franchise , sharing technique and style on some of the biggest stages in the world.
Enter Surry Hills and something of his own….. After years on the global circuit, Leonard felt the pull to create something personal. A salon that blended precision and artistry with warmth, community and individuality. He opened his first space on Albion street in Surry Hills , a neighbourhood that would become the heart of his hair journey and a true reflection of his creative spirit. It was during this chapter that Leonards life changed in the most beautiful way: he became a father to three beautiful girls. Life became fuller, faster and more meaningful than he ever imagined. The salon moved from Albion Street to a tucked away location on Albion Lane and eventually found its forever home - a hidden gem on Bellevue Street, right behind the pub.
